It has been brought to our attention recently concerning the flurry of activity on a few blog sites where wickedshepherds.com has been mentioned as a reference for further investigation on the issue of spiritual and/or pastoral abuse.
One such blog site is found here:
This is a blog concerning Albert N. Martin. He is being praised for his preaching ministry and viewers are being urged to become familiar with him and his messages.
There are a few posts where the writers are disagreeing with this premise concerning Albert N. Martin.
One "poster" was found telling of their experiences; quoting straight from our articles quite extensively; and recommended the article, “A Word To The Wives” for a reference. Some ensuing "commenters" have blasted and publicly ridiculed and misrepresented our site and its' webmaster.
But as many of you already know, isn't this to be expected from those who are mere followers of men?
You can click the blog link above and search it out for yourself to see what's going on. But be that as it may, let me make a few points regarding some of the misrepresentations that were posted by a particular individual.
One such individual said the following about our website and its webmaster:
"The '#1 guy' at that website....is a follower of Harold Camping…..you know, the man who thought the world was going to end 15 years ago...." "....YOU may not know this about the “#1 guy” because YOU may not know him PERSONALLY like *I* do, but instead of focusing on Pastor Martin’s teachings you think are false, perhaps you should focus on what THIS man who is NOW a teacher to you, (through his website), believes..."
This is a great misrepresentation spoken by the man who made this comment. I am not, and never was a follower of Harold Camping. When I left that cult many years ago, this was the exact same lie that was instigated by the church leaders in order to discredit me. Is it any wonder why this particular commenter says such things? Many years later, the same old line continues, used of course to portray a “whacko” mentality in order to prevent anyone else from listening to you. It can be a very effective tool used to keep church members in the dark concerning the reality of the situation. I've seen this evil used many times by pastors to quickly extinguish any possible questioning.
The 2nd misrepresentation by this same man making these comments is this:
“The ‘#2 guy’ at that website seems to question the salvation of virtually EVERYONE except himself and the “#1 guy!!!” Though Scripture warns us to examine OURSELVES to see whether WE be in the faith, and to make OUR calling and election sure, this “#2 guy” examines and questions everyone ELSE and finds THEM deficient. He would do the same to YOU, no doubt, if YOU knew him personally as *I* do…..but I suspect you don’t. I urge you to not focus so much on some who WAS ministering to you and pay careful attention to those who presently ARE., "
Again, this is nothing but another great misrepresentation. There is no “#2 guy” at this website. Who in the world and what in the world is he talking about? I am the only one here. I write the articles (some) and post the other articles that are written by other brethren. I control this whole website from beginning to end; inside and out; by myself. I receive no salary; I accept no donations. I have no staff, no secretary, …..just me.
This "#2 guy" is just of one the many other figments of his imagination.
If that's not enough, he continues with this: “You mention the “testimony” section of that website….it is filled with anonymous commenters and it has zero credibility. Honestly, for all we know, it could be one person claiming to be several. Each “testimony” is anonymous.”
Each testimony that is sent to us for posting has 100% credibility. It is absolutely not one person claiming to be several.
There are a couple of testimonies where the individuals first name is included. Our policy is clearly stated on several pages.
It is this: “Unless otherwise requested, only your first name will be posted.”
This same policy is reflected in our E-MAIL section as well. If an individual requests anonymity, that is fully honored and those results are reflected in the testimony (and e-mail) section.
Again, this individual is way, way out of line. Speaking about "zero credibility?"
I fully realize that those who have not as yet come to grips with what is staring them right in the face will find this website disgusting.
This individual may say what he wishes. But he better be careful about judging what he knows not!
Our website continues to be a blinding light, emanating not only in the secular world, but even more so, in the blackness and darkness of the religious world and its corrupted church institutions.
Our emphasis is in exposing the unscriptural and blasphemous practices that are being taught in the name of God.
As is stated on this site:
“….Our goal is NOT to attack people, but rather to expose the lies and true nature of those imposters (in our opinion) who fraudulently claim to be men of God. So please don't confuse our mission of "exposing" as an "attack" on the character of a person who contradicts God's Word. We do NOT attack people; we attack and expose false religions, false teachings, scandals, cover-ups, false ideas, trickery, and heresies which blind the masses from THE TRUTH. Yes, people will be offended, because the truth is usually offensive.”
“...We’re not here to make friends; we’re here to get the truth out...”
Albert N. Martin is just one of many “church rulers” who needs to be exposed. Many evils are being brought to the Light and to the Truth on this site and there are some who don’t like it!
When any person in the religious community is found to be challenging a cherished doctrine; exposing a false teacher; calling a spade a spade, it is quickly labeled "offensive speech" or "defaming" the character or ministry of an individual. This is how the silencing of the lambs into submission is accomplished.
You will find this to be a very common stratagem used by many "bloggers" over the Internet.
Exposing the errors and evil tactics of your favorite minister or preacher is quickly labeled as defamation, offensive, slander, or "receiving a charge against a pastor." Many moderators are being pressured to delete, and sometimes not even post opposing opinions, fearing someone else will be a "Berean" and dig into the truth to see for themselves "whether these things be so."
"No, not my Pastor. Why,.......I've known him to be a humble man and have benefited much from his ministry; his voice resounds in the depths of my being; he has a good track record; Why,......I even have a collection of many of his sermons to prove it!"
This is the standard reply that you will always find on many blogs where the "viewer" has seen their favorite minister “being attacked” or “defamed” or a “churches dirty laundry is being aired.” But will they investigate the comments and references that are being presented?
Not on your life!
The article that was referenced for example, “A Word To The Wives,” is backed by many, many Scriptures and other concrete examples of explicit pastoral abuse. Actual sermon notes along with recorded "sermons" that are out in the public domain are referenced. Anyone can check it out and refute it if necessary. Thus far, not one individual has done so.
If there is a statement made that is not correct, then the thing to do is correct it, always using the Scriptures and not your own opinions or feelings on the issue. People look at a website such as this, or an article such as the one referenced, and they get angered, not because their “pastor” is being “defamed” or “discredited” or is “being accused,” but because they cannot contradict what is being said.
There are some people who will actually not even read an article such as “A Word To The Wives.” Perhaps, they are afraid to read it--all of it.
They would rather continue to believe and hold on to the “idols of the heart” before ever admitting that something is wrong here.
It is clear to even a fool, that there is quoted a plethora of Scriptures, as well as real-life concrete examples, on every page of this website. What we speak and what we expose are backed up by Scripture!
On the other hand, and as is always the case, many of the comments that you find on blogs that are posting their silly little slogans concerning the love-fest that they have for their favorite pastor...........are backed by nothing!

Why do many people in the "church " today believe in and practice some of the most outlandish and preposterous pronouncements of men? ("church membership", mandatory meetings, cracker and juice communion, "worship services", etc. etc. )
One big reason is the fact that the typical church goer or church member automatically believes what they are told. As long as it comes from the "pastor", especially their favorite pastor or teacher or their "duly authorized" elder, then that's it !!
It's truth! (Especially when you are continually being taught "never to disagree with the pastor/elder because "disagreeing with him is equal to disagreeing with God!)
"Elder rule" is what you will hear over and over again. Its the "church member" who has blown up the ego of these over-paid, soapbox artists so much that now, they see no need to answer to anyone for what they teach or fail to teach except to their "fellow elders." (And even that is very, very rare).
To question an elder/pastor for something he taught publicly is considered a "mortal sin." The "church" has been utterly brainwashed when it has been taught to say that obedience to the elder/pastors in all things "is from God." What carnally minded power engulfs these over-paid ministers of deception when the "church people" believe this!
The "pastors" have made themselves too big for their britches and the people love to have it so.
Who needs to study the Scriptures and to search things out when you are paying someone else to do that for you!
There are those in "positions of leadership in the church" who have made themselves untouchable. They have insulated themselves from the Truth. They like the "kingdoms" they have built.
They like their reputations, their control, their domination, their "swagger," and most of all, their paycheck!
Or putting it another way:
...they like to sit on Moses' seat week after week; to bind heavy burdens on people grievous to be borne; to be seen of men and to be praised by men; to sit in the chief seats in the assembly; to hear the greetings in the marketplace; to be called of men, 'Rabbi'; to devour widows houses; to make long prayers, and last but not least, love their salaries.
As one man has said, "It is difficult to get a man to understand something when his salary depends upon his not understanding it."
To admit they are wrong and change their practices will in many ways destroy the system they have built (along with themselves) because it is built upon nothing less than a house of sand.
This is the "state of the church" today (all of them, without exception).
