"...For there are indeed many unruly men, empty talkers and mind-deluders; who overturn whole houses, teaching things which they ought not." Titus 1:10

MARITAL BLISS
in the Local Institutional Church
Using clipart and other illustrations depicting the REAL LIFE monstrosity that is transpiring throughout "church denominations" across the world.
"For this cause shall a man leave his father and mother, and shall cleave to his wife; and the two shall become one flesh. So that no longer are they two, but one flesh. What therefore God hath joined together, let not man be separating." Matthew 19:5-6
My Pastor says the 'church' comes first - NOT YOU! And all my friends say the same thing too!
"One who instigates quarrels between brethren is an abomination to the Lord." Proverbs 6:19
The pastor says......
"Therefore as the church is subject unto Christ, so let the wives be to their own husbands in everything.....
Me and Sally went out to dinner with the Pastor and his wife last night and he said that you should consider separation from your wife. He says she's gone way over the line with her disaffection and grumbling with the church.
That's good to know, George. The Pastor is a Godly man and I trust him, even though my wife doesn't like his messages or policies.
Reasons For Divorce
Among Bible-Believing Christians

Incompatibility
"What therefore God has joined together, let not man put asunder."
Matthew 19:6
Not me Roger. Like the Pastor says we should shun those who forsake the assembly.
Gladys, will you try to talk some sense into my wife?
Roger, the Pastor counseled me as well to stay away from your wife and I would be a fool not to follow their counsel. They are God's gift to the church!
Roger, the Bible says we should all be of the same mind. We know a real Christian wouldn't say those things about the Pastor like your wife says. I think that it's time to dump her and move on!
Lucy, could you talk to my wife?
She's resigning from the church because she says that the Pastor is spiritually abusive and she doesn't want me to fellowship here anymore either!
Listen Roger; BOTH Pastor DeBunk AND Pastor Spitzer counseled me NOT to talk to her. They said it would be sin. I would be casting my pearls before swine.
My Pastor
said I should
NEVER listen to
my husband
when he tells me something different than what the church believes.
"Happy is the man/woman who does not walk in the counsel of the wicked." Psalm 1
"I counseled you to separate from your husband in order to teach him a lesson! Nobody questions my policies in this church! And besides, he profanes every Lord's Day by missing one of the services!!"
Good job Lois.
You're a great testimony to the church
in obeying your overseers.
Pastor, here's the letter I found in my husband's trash. You were right. He's communicating with the former members!
The contentions of a wife are a continual dropping. Proverbs 19:13
What should I do Mike? My wife has changed and doesn't believe the same doctrines anymore.
Kevin, obviously she's not a Christian. How many times have you been counseled to separate from that woman! What are you waiting for?
Your husband has no right to tell you to absent yourself from the public meetings of this church. Shame on you Margaret, if you accommodate him and then try to cover it up by claiming submission. You're deluded; you're deceived; you will be playing the fool!
My wife doesn't want me to be friends with Joe anymore because she thinks he's trying to hurt our marriage! Joe told me not to worry about it and just don't listen to her.
Dave, we both know that Joe's a good brother and a strong Christian. Look how devoted he is to the church and to the Pastor. You can't go wrong with that! The Bible says forsake not your friends. Follow the Bible; follow your conscience, and do what Joe says!
"Don't the Elders have authority over you in this assembly Becky? Your husband knows too much. He's beginning to step on a lot of toes in this place. Your husband has no authority over you here. The Elders do!!"
Unless you go back to our first church, our marriage is never going to be the same!
My husband is SO MEAN. Today, he talked about all the things wrong with the Pastor's sermon!
Oh Gloria, how do you put up with him for so long? Don't be fooled. He's definitely not looking out for your welfare. I'll pray for you.
Everybody is
going to the
Pastor with
my marital problems!
Oh Bobbi, you thought you were marrying a righteous man. But now we know he's wicked! Changing around what he believes? Going to a different church? Can you
imagine that!
I feel so free again ever since I divorced Jason. I couldn't take it any longer with him being out of work for so long.
Thanks Alice for all your prayers and wise
counsel too!
That's what the Church is all about ! Like the Bible says, we must all be
of the same mind!
I know. I was young and
I made a stupid choice
when I got married,
right?
Look Sarah, you can't dwell on your past mistakes. It's time to move on and do what I did! The Church supported me all the way through. Dump that heretic and bum of a husband. You must follow God and not man!
He's changed!
He's not the
same person
I married!
Aren't you afraid
to sleep with him
at night?
If I were you, I would be!

I Promise to NEVER Question My Leaders
I Promise to NEVER Forsake My Leaders
I Promise to NEVER yield to my husband
"Now the Bereans were more noble in that they were examining the Scriptures daily, whether these things were so." Acts 17:11
“Pants again? I tell you Edna, I don’t know what it takes to get these young wives around here to dress modestly!”
"Spiritual abuse in this church??"
"False Teachings??"
"Marriages being destroyed?"
I just don’t see it!
"Pastor told us not to read the eeeeevil website."
"This is so much easier
than thinking for myself!"
You're right Frank. Those who know the least obey the best!
My sheep need some
fresh expositions of my awesome
Pastoral Office and Ministerial integrity.
My sheep must learn to obey me more
since I have the rule over them!
That website is STILL running!! See what else we can do, because now my sheep are starting to ask questions!
“All of you follow the bishop as Jesus Christ follows the Father . . . Whatever he approves, that is pleasing to God."
"Your Elders stand in a divine office; clothed with the authority of Christ; Obeying Your Elders is the same as obeying God."
"We're sharing our prayer requests, right?"
A congregation of blind and dumb sheep soon begets a "spiritual oversight" of devouring, ravenous wolves.
My husband's
business is doing really bad!
Yes, his business
should be bad. The Bible says, "He who covers his sins shall not prosper."
What do you expect Gloria. He questions the Pastor's teachings; he doesn't submit to the Elders; he now believes differently from the church!
"When you speak against the Pastor and his authority, you speak against God and His Authority!"
You see here Ralph; the Bible says forsake not your friends!
I tell my husband all the time that I don't gossip about him!
"Speak up for all who cannot speak for themselves; for the right of all who are helpless." Proverbs 31:8
The Pastor told me, "my ears are the property of Jesus and so, I don't have to sit and listen to what YOU say about the Bible!"
"When you became a Church Member, you made a vow to God, and therefore you must fulfill your vows!"
...that is, in everything related to the home. You know, things like where to go on vacation; what kind of car to buy; taking out the garbage; whether or not we should have a dog, etc., etc.,..... things like that!"
